Wilford A. Beesley, III
Bill Beesley’s legal practice is concentrated in construction, real estate and intellectual property law. Mr. Beesley represents numerous construction companies throughout the Intermountain West, providing a wide range of legal services including resolution of construction contract claims to complex construction litigation in both public and private proceedings. He has successfully represented construction clients, including general contractors, subcontractors, bonding companies and surety companies, in multi-party litigation involving multi-million dollar construction defect claims to complex mechanic’s lien claims. Mr. Beesley represents real estate brokerages in transactions and litigation. Mr. Beesley also represents clients in entertainment and intellectual property law extending to trademarks, copyright, music consulting and artist representation.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mr. Beesley graduated with University Honors from Brigham Young University in 1996. In 1999, Mr. Beesley obtained a J.D. degree from California Western School of Law. Mr. Beesley is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, ABA Entertainment Law Forum, Utah Trial Lawyers Association, Construction Law Section of the Utah State Bar, National Association of Realtors and the Salt Lake Board of Realtors. Mr. Beesley is admitted to practice law in Utah and U.S. District Court, District of Utah. Mr. Beesley is proficient in Danish.
After 3 years with the law firm of Beesley, Fairclough and Fitts, Mr. Beesley joined Prince Yeates in 2003 and was made a shareholder in 2007.
