Ryan R. West
Mr. West practices primarily in the areas of commercial real estate development and finance as well as corporate transactions. He represents developers, owners and lenders in connection with the acquisition, construction, leasing and financing of a wide range of real estate assets and provides general business law advice with respect to corporate and real estate transactions, including technology licensing, entity formation and capitalization, business and real estate purchases, and sales representative and distribution agreements.
Mr. West has represented a number of the nation's largest residential developers and has acted as counsel to a U.S. entity in its acquisition and development of the St Andrews Grand luxury residences in St Andrews, Scotland. He also represents a prominent magazine publisher and regularly provides counsel with respect to corporate governance, employment issues, and intellectual property matters.
Mr. West earned a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Utah State University and a juris doctorate from the J. Rueben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he was an editor of the law review. He is licensed to practice law in both Nevada and Utah.
