Sally B. McMinimee
Sally McMinimee currently focuses her practice on commercial and family law litigation.
She was born in Brewster, Washington, and attended Colorado State University and the University of Utah, where she received her B.A. degree in political science, magna cum laude, in 1983. She earned a J.D. degree in 1988 from the University of Utah College of Law, where she was a William H. Leary Scholar. During law school, Ms. McMinimee was awarded the honor of "Best Oral Argument" and was a Moot Court finalist. She began clerking for Prince Yeates while she was in law school and joined the firm after graduation.
Ms. McMinimee has been active in a variety of legal organizations, including Sutherland Inns of Court, the Salt Lake County Bar, Women Lawyers of Utah and several Utah State Bar committees.
She has been active in community initiatives, serving as communications director for the League of Women Voters and on the school board for the J.E. Cosgriff Memorial School.
